The past couple of weeks have been busy, but fun. Bennett was spoiled for his 2nd birthday, as usual. The weekend before his birthday Grandpa and Grandma vanLeeuwen came to visit. That weekend we had a small birthday party for Bennett where he had 3 of his friends come over, along with their moms and dads. The kids all did so well and it was a nice time. That week we celebrated Bennett's birthday and the day after his Grandpa and Grandma Swager came to visit. He was overloaded with love and attention and thinks it should be like that all the time:)

This is Bennett and Dalton - they are buddies, too bad he they live an hour apart. Dalton sang happy birthday to Bennett and it was so precious.

This is mini-Dale. He has to wear glasses like dad and his ball cap like dad. He seems to really like his new slide!

Bennett opening some birthday gifts.

These were the cupcakes we had at his party.

Bennett just sat there so proudly while everyone sang "happy birthday" to him.

Playing with his new soccer ball. It wasn't that warm outside that day, can you tell?

Grandma pushing him around on his new tricycle

He liked the cupcakes:)

Grandma pushing Bennett on the swing.

Bennett wearing his "George" pajamas he actually got for his birthday last year, but fits into them now.

Dale and Mini Dale

Bennett has turned into a shadow of his father. Dale can not walk anywhere without a little boy following a half step behind him. If Dale is wearing a hat, Bennett must also wear a hat....Bennett also likes to wear his sunglasses, because dad wears glasses.

Bennett is wearing my vest, oh he thinks he is the funniest kid on earth:)

"playing" Wii just like dad

He had to get right in there and "help" dig his sandbox.

He just loves that shovel

Everytime I haul out the camera he turns towards me and "EEZE!!!!" I have a hard time catching him in an action shot.
